Dull ignore.

This website, when I redesigned it whilst stuck in a hotel in Nottingham 2 years ago was suposed to be clean simple and unexotic. Ooops its sliped a bit since then.

Partly it went wrong beacuse the way I do things has changed since it was invisaged. The categories are declining and the blog is nearly everything. Damn it.

Recent overly clever stuff has been added to over complicate it. It now contains a lot of (other People's) Javascript. Some of them had a barney. Oh well. Launching soon will be some really clever stuff involving anaysing GPS tracks. Well I think its clever.

Need to update the aknowlements section I guess. The plan is to make it work with anything, well bar IE6 somethings a man shouldn't have to do.

Somethings websites couldn't do is anything moving, or interactive. For ages I've had the interactive stuff covered by the server side PHP. However I've never had a decent video solution. Forunatly as of a bout next month that should be covered. HTML5 wich is rally a confusing catchphrase for CSS3, HTML5 and javascript really will work. Yay! IE 9 is out and firefox 4 with suport for webem video will be supported. The brief flirt with flash video is over. With the sale of the iPads/phones its probably a good thing to ditch flash. I liked it - still use it for what it was designed for vector based annimation. But its so dog slow and danderious. Be glad to be shot of it. Flash is so processor hungry and slow I've had enough of it. Need to strip off the newsticker at the top jquery will save me I'm sure.
