radius

Been fiddling with radius.... can I go back to configuring sendmail blind fold?. That made sense. I have succeeded in making my temp mesh box look up on my radius server. Mind you I have no idea:

What the hell a huntgroup is.
How the hell you ban it from using dogs.
What a proxy is in the context of radius and whether I have / need one.
What an EAP is. Perhaps a type of antelope which the huntgroups go after?
What a NAS is and whether like the EAP its endangered by the huntgroup?
Realm what realm? I Fu****g hate dungeons and dragons!

What I do know:
radclient on mesh box actually asks fishtank.oceanhippie.net stuff. Woot! (No, I don't have faintest idea what it's asking.)
That fishtank hears the stuff.

I also know:
that the Internet is totally devoid a of a basic description of any of the above. What they do and why. (and also where and when)

However there may be a chap involved somewhere....presumably a little fellow who sits in the processor heat sink and shouts "Ra Ra Were Gonna Smash the Oiks"*
